AI, Comms, and Coffee: Responsible AI use for professional communicators

Join us over a morning coffee to learn from about the 'Venice Pledge', the first set of global principles for responsible use of AI for communication and PR practitioners.

The conversation on artificial intelligence (AI) has moved on - from how can we use it to enhance our work, to how can we make sure we're using it responsibly?

Communication professionals are uniquely placed to drive responsible use of AI. Not only in our own work, but in the work of others. With our in-built 'risk radar' and our focus on reputation management, we have an opportunity to lead the adoption of ethical AI use in organisations of all shapes and sizes.

But how do we do that?

With so many ideas out there, the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management recently met in Europe and brought together data, feedback, and ideas from all over the world to establish the first Responsible AI Principles for PR and Comms.

In this session, two of group members involved in developing these principles (known as the 'Venice Pledge') will share the insights that informed these principles, and practical applications for practitioners.
